Meredith O’ Bannion is a Licensed Loan Officer in the state of Texas with nearly 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, serving New Braunfels, Comal County, Guadalupe County, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Her background provides a well-rounded understanding of both the lending and transaction sides of homeownership, allowing her to help clients navigate the mortgage process with efficiency, clear communication, and realistic expectations.
Meredith’s professional experience includes working as a business and marketing high school teacher, which strongly influences my approach to lending today. She believes education is essential when making informed financial decisions. Meredith takes the time to clearly explain mortgage options, loan programs, timelines, and requirements, so borrowers feel confident throughout the process. She also hold a Business Management degree with a minor in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University, providing a strong foundation in financial analysis and detail-oriented loan structuring.
Meredith works with a wide range of borrowers across New Braunfels and the surrounding Texas Hill Country, including first-time homebuyers, veterans, move-up buyers, real estate investors, and clients looking to downsize or refinance. While loan approval is subject to underwriting guidelines and program requirements, her focus is on proactive communication, timely updates, and identifying potential concerns early to support a smoother transaction.
Clients work directly with Meredith from loan application through closing. She does not use assistants, which allows her to remain fully engaged in every file and provide consistent, accurate information. Meredith’s goal is to make the mortgage process as organized, transparent, and straightforward as possible.
Whether you are purchasing or refinancing a home in New Braunfels, Comal County, or anywhere in Texas, Meredith O’ Bannion’s role is to guide you through the loan process with professionalism, responsiveness, and clarity—helping reduce stress and support a successful closing.
When she’s not working in all aspects of real estate and mortgage lending, you’ll likely find her and her husband enjoying live music, spending time in one of our local Hill Country rivers, or being a barn mom with one of their son’s FFA projects.
